Recognitions from level 1 to level 10

The holder of these distinctions is entitled to invoke them in all circumstances.

The awards are accessible whether or not you are a member of the Image Sans Frontières association. Additional fees will be charged for non-member photographers.

1. To obtain a distinction, the candidate must meet the following conditions:

a. Submit a detailed application (application template available on the ISF website).

b. Fill in the table of acceptances obtained in international trade fairs holding an ISF label or a FIAP or PSA patronage, regardless of the section concerned (table available for download on the website).

Acceptances in salons with FIAP or PSA patronage = 1 point

Acceptances in trade fairs with ISF labels = 2 points

Acceptances in competitions organized by ISF, such as the World Cup, = 3 points.

c. Pay the amount due according to the table below to the association’s PayPal account through the website.

2. ISF reserves the right to verify, by any means, the validity of a request.
3. The request for an award must be addressed to the Distinctions Officer; Philippe Bolle: distinctionsisf@image-sans-frontiere.info accompanied by a passport photo of the Author, whether or not he is photographing, and 4 digital files among the best acceptances cited in the application (jpg files of 300 dpi, the largest dimension of which will be 2000 pixels). The Author expressly authorises ISF to publish all or part of the dossier for the promotion of Image Sans Frontières.
4. Each applicant for the distinction will receive his or her diploma by email and then by post.

To obtain the « recognition » distinctions

You must:

• First of all, apply for the R-ISF 1 distinction, which is an essential step
• Then the distinction to which you are entitled according to your total number of points: for example, 300 points, you will have R-ISF 1 and R-ISF 3 and for this you will have to pay a payment of €100 if you are a member and €130 if you are not a member

To obtain the next step, you will need an additional 300 points to reach an R-ISF4 distinction. You will have to wait 6 months.

You can choose to wait, after obtaining R-ISF 3, to have 1200 points in total to apply for R-ISF 5, because you can directly reach the third level.
